Just finished watching dvd. Can someone clearify what the movie is about? Is it a story of a young genius blacksmith with absolute pure heart who became a holy great knight (and miraculously obtained a very high level of combat skills) in a matter of days?

He gained the King’s trust in just one glance then the King obviously offered him the throne and king’s sister. And all of the time he said that god was not with him, I’d say it was in other around! He was invincible!!! Well, there were a few good things in this film; cinematography and Edward Norton’s performance.
