PANDEMIC

感染列島 (kansen rettou) or english title “Pandemic” set in japan at the time when bird flu is spreading. a doctor finds a patient who he has diagnosed as flu comes back and die shortly. at first they believe it is the bird flu. later they realize that the virus is something else far more dangerous than bird flu. By the time they figure this out the highly contagious illness already infects thousands of people. when all hope to cure these disease seems lost, a young doctor steps up to search for the origin of this virus and save the day.

the story is nothing new (may be new to japan?) the plot is just lame. well, there are some sensational scenes but not powerful enough to carry the film to the end without boredom.
