The Wolfman is a remake of the 1941 classic horror film of the same name. Lawrence Talbot (Benicio Del Toro) returns to his home after receiving a letter from Gwen (Emily Blunt), his brother’s fiancée asking him to come home to help her find Ben (Simon Merrells) who has gone missing for several days. And when he arrives home, his father informs him that his brother’s body was found and they are preparing for the funeral. Lawrence is in grieve and swears to find the person whom is responsible for his brother’s death.

As he goes wandering in the wood to find the gypsy camp, he is attacked and bit by a mysterious beast. Soon he realizes that the curse from that beast has been upon him and there is nothing he can do.

I must admit that i did not expect anything from this film. The only reason I only went to see is because “Emily Blunt” is in it. Still this film has successfully managed to disappoint me. I see no point why they decided to remake this movie. I have not seen the original one, but if it is the same script, different cast I would be surprised why it was made after all.

This is by far one of the worst movies about werewolves I have ever seen. I feel sorry for Anthony Hopkins and Emily blunt, their performances are brilliant but the story just sucks big time.

Some movies should have never been remade, and this is one of those.
