SPIDER-MAN 3
Sam Raimi
(2007)
Spidey is back once again with more spectacular visual effects that will blow everyone’s mind away. I really like the opening title which does not just show the cast members but also tell the story in the prequels in case some people already forgot what it’s all about. However the plot is a bit shallow and kinda boring in the middle part that I almost fell asleep. But spider-man is a film for children so that would be acceptable, I guess.
Mary Jane Watson starring Kirsten Dunst does look better than she did in the prequel. She doesn’t look (very) old like she used to. The best thing in the film besides “visual effects” is James Franco as Harry Osborn. his role is incredibly intense, very well-written, and his performance goes along with it impressively.
My conclusion is just go watch this film at the cinema and prepare to be startled by the action sequences. The visual effects alone is worth the money for your ticket.
