I guess most of the people know the name Sherlock Holmes, he is a fictional detective created by Scottish author / physician Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
Sherlock is the name of a new British television series based on the novel by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. The difference is it is a modern Sherlock Holmes who is living among us in current time using his mastermind to consult and solve mysterious cases with his assistant Dr. John H. Watson, an ex-army doctor from the war in Afghanistan. Modern Holmes prefers communicating through text messaging with his BlackBerry. While doctor Watson writes his journals about the cases and other things on his personal blog!
Sherlock is undoubtedly one of the best British series I have seen in years. The production and cinematography is top-notch. The script and the performance is outstanding. The first season of Sherlock consists of only three episodes, 90-minute each. I love the new rendition, new movement of Holmes in modern times. It’s electrifying and I can’t wait for season two. Finally Homes’ archenemy, Moriarty appears!
