Orphan depicts the story of a family which the mother has lost her third child as stillbirth. So they decide to pass their love for their lost child to another child who may need it by adopting a girl named Esther (Isabelle Fuhrman) from an orphan. Esther is 9-year-old from Russia.

Esther looks smart and welcoming. The couple believe they have found the right girl for their family, but they were mistaken. Later they find out that there must be something wrong with Esther. It seems like the troubles always find the way to keep up with her. Everywhere she goes, people accidentally get hurt and injured.

Orphan is a thrill ride for people who enjoy watching dramatic thriller with intellectual twist. Isabelle Fuhrman who portrays the role of Esther has completely taken control of everything in the film and successfully sent chill down my spine with her powerful & believable performance.
