It’s been a long wait… since its first trailer in 2008 which was shown at Cannes Film Festival in May 2008 to seek co-financiers. Finally it has become Finnish-German-Australian science-fiction comedy!
The story took place in 1945 after Nazi Germans being defeated, they fled to the Moon where they built a space fleet to return in 2018 to conquer planet Earth.
The script is highly entertaining. I mean what’s not to like? The president of United States who looks like Sarah Palin always running on her treadmill in White House trying to get her presidential reelection with her kick-ass adviser, or United States secretly built their own enterprise spaceship.
Sadly, the CGI is not up to par especially in the final part of the film otherwise it could be a mesmerizing grand finale space war. Soundtrack by Slovenian industrial music group Laibach is epic.
