Katsushin serves my most favorite Tonkatsu (豚カツ) in Bangkok, possibly in the entire country. I’m always impressed by the constant quality of their breaded deep-fried pork cutlet. The other place that comes close to this level is Tonkatsu Wako at Isetan Bangkok.
I love this menu which I still can’t find anywhere else, they serve Tongkatsu with 大根おろし (daikon-oroshi / grated white radish) and ポン酢 (ponzu / citrus-based sauce). Deep fried to perfection every time.
Another signature dish, and it’s not even on permanent menu. If you’re lucky enough, you will be able to order their special menu called Deep Fried Squid Tentacles. If you like squid, this is the pinnacle of deep fried squid.
