เฉือน (Cheuan / Slice) is a Thai dramatic thriller film. The story involves an inmate who believes that he has somehow connected with a notorious serial killer whom the cops are desperately searching for, after he murdered the only son of Thai minister.
The detective who is working on this particular case is forced to find this killer within 15-day time frame. If he fails to catch the killer, he will be held responsible for all the deaths.
An inmate named ‘Tai’ is later released to help the detective find this killer. He has to do this on his own by traveling back to the village where he was born where he would find the trails that connected all the murder cases with his long lost friend from his childhood’s memory. Will he be able to do it in time before it’s too late?
The plot is great and totally believable. This psychological thriller film is probably one of best Thai films released in 2009. It is highly recommended for people who love good suspense thriller with good storytelling, cinematography, and editing. Also the soundtrack is creepily wonderful.
