PUSH

(2009)
There are some people in this world with extraordinary gifts.
Push is a Sci-Fi thriller film about a group of people with special powers trying to bring down the secret government agency that is trying use dangerous drug to boost up power and build up a force.
In this film, there are lots of people with extraordinary powers; Movers can move objects with their mind, Pushers can push their thought into victim’s brain, Watchers can see the future, Bleeders can use high-pitch sonic vibration to destroy livings and objects, Sniffs can sense the history and the presence related to the object they touch or smell, Shifters can change the appearance of any object temporarily, Wipers can wipe part or all of other’s memory, Shadows can shield an area from being detected by other power, and Stitchers have ability to heal or inflict other people.
Kira (Camilla Belle) is the name of a Pusher who survives the drug made by the division. The drug is supposed to boost up the power exponentially but something has gone wrong, all the subjects were dead. Except Kira. When she wakes up, she escapes from the facility with a sample of the drug. She and the drug has suddenly become the weapon that can bring the division down according to the prophecy by the greatest watcher in the world. The division has to do everything to get the girl and the drug back.
Sounds like fun? No, actually it’s quite the opposite. Even though Dakota Fanning is in the film, it does not seem to help much because the plot is so weak. It’s so boring and I fell asleep in cinema! My advice? Try to avoid it at all cost.
