Forest Bake

This is the second branch of Forest Bake. As you may or may not know, the first Forest Bake is located in Chiang Mai. Bangkok branch is located deep in Soi Sukhumvit 22. It’s a homemade style bakery offering eye-catching and yummy cakes and pastries. Basic coffee and tea are available.

There ain’t many seatings inside this small and beautifully decorated café. Either you visit them at the right time to sit and savor those pastries inside or you can just purchase and take them home with you.

Here they make good canelé with crunchy outer shell, but I cannot feel the rum… why is the rum gone? Other pastries are also delicious. I like that purple potato tart.

They also serve scone, but they don’t have clotted cream… why? Scone without clotted cream is just wrong. And no, jam and whipped cream cannot substitute clotted cream, nothing can.

There is also no parking space, you have to park your car at nearby mansion’s parking lot. All the good stuff will mostly be gone by 4 pm, make sure you visit them before 2 pm. You can also give them a call in advance if you want to pre-order their pastries for picking up later.
