Brokeback Mountain

2005 | Ang Lee
★★☆☆☆

If you can’t fix it, you have to stand it.

That’s exactly what I felt when I was watching this Oscar-nominated film. Yes, I can’t fix the time nor the film, so I had to stand watching this film. It currently is the longest movie I’ve ever watched.

134 minutes that felt like 6 hours. There were few good moments at the very end, and I thought the end didn’t exist! Most of time it was just plain boring. Reviewers and critique seem to like this film a lot though.

  • This is one good movie. Though it’s hard to get what Ang Lee ‘s trying to present. Just like “Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon”, I actually felt asleep for a short period of time but it’s said (by critics)to be a great movie. [itongue]

  • if you don’t understand what mr. lee’s trying to represent, that is your problem. [dead] unfortunately this is a movie that i do not like. i’d rather watch “memento” or “dogville” for 10 times instead.

by the way, you can’t just say a movie is good or bad because other reviewers said so, or because it won oscars. you could say whether you like it or not when you actually watch the movie yourself.

  • I still haven’t got a chance to watch this movie. I guess I will try to watch it this coming weekend. [ismile]

  • I love this movie :)
