X-Men: First Class
2011 | Matthew Vaughn
X-Men is back once again, this time it brings us back to the year 1962 during the Cuban Missile Crisis and focuses on the relationship between Professor X and Magneto and the origin of their groups, the X-Men and the Brotherhood of Mutants.
The film is actually as good as the first film of X-Men. It’s always entertaining to watch all the mutants showing off their special abilities. However there’s nothing spectacularly new, no factor that can make people go wow about except the presence of White Queen (Emma Frost). And I thought Mystique is supposed to be slender than this… What happened to Rebecca Romijn? I want her back. Mutant and proud!
