The Bourne Legacy introduces a new lead character Aaron Cross under Operation “Outcome.” After the incident which revealed the existence of Treadstone and Blackbriar assassination programs, they are forced to terminate Outcome and all its operatives.
Tony Gilroy is no stranger to Bourne, since he is the writer of the Bourne Trilogy. Tony Gilroy is best know as diractor/co-writer of Michael Clayton.
The Bourne Legacy is more like a side story of Jason Bourne than the actual Bourne film, it is entertaining to watch with lots of twists. Action scenes brilliantly keep the audience on their tiptoes. Motorcycles chase is incredibly fun, as if it was heavily inspired by Terminator 2: Judgment Day. Although the ending is a bit letdown. Rachel Weisz is the best thing in this film.
