Sean Wang is an Academy Award-nominated filmmaker from Fremont, California, currently based in Los Angeles. He has gained recognition for his work in both short films and feature films, with notable projects including Still Here (2020), H.A.G.S. (Have A Good Summer) (2021), and Sunday (2021) as a director, producer, and editor. Wang’s latest short film, Nǎi Nai & Wài Pó (Grandma & Grandma), premiered at the SXSW 2023 festival, where it won both the Grand Jury Prize and Audience Award. This film was also nominated for an Academy Award for Best Documentary Short Film.
