Buried
2010 | Rodrigo Cortés
The film depicts an American truck driver Paul Conroy who wakes up after the attack on Iraq and finds himself buried alive with only a lighter and a mobile phone. He must find the way out before the oxygen runs out.
Buried is a friggin’ brilliant psychological thriller film. In my opinion, it’s even better than Phone Booth. The director Rodrigo Cortés did an incredible job captivating all audience’s attention for 90 minutes to watch only one lead actor buried alive the wooden coffin.
