The Losers depicts five members of an elite United States Special Forces team sent out on a search-and-destroy mission. Upon locating the target for an air strike, the team spot children are being moved into the camp. They try to abort the mission by contacting Mission Control who reveals himself as “Max”. Max declines to the request, so the team have to move into the compound to rescue the children to the rendezvous point. Clay, the leader of the team decides to board the helicopter instead of him and his crews. Max believes the team is boarding the helicopter, he orders it destroyed.

The team are blamed for the death of 25 children and declared decease by the U.S. military. Mysteriously, Clay is contacted by a female operative with a proposition to capture Max in exchange for getting them back to the United States and money. Ambivalently, Clay and the team accept her offer to get revenge at Max for killing innocent children and attempt to get them killed.

The Losers is a film adaptation of Vertigo comic book series of the same name by Andy Diggle. I have never read the original comic book, so I cannot comment on that. The plot in the film is quite confusing and full of clichés. The overall is considerably boring, I almost fell asleep while watching it.
