The Haunting in Connecticut
2010 | Peter Cornwell
The Haunting in Connecticut is a horror film based on allegedly true story of a paranormal event. A family is moving in to an old house because this house is close to the hospital where their son is being treated. Later they finds out that this house is not just an ordinary old house, it was a funeral home where they took dead people here. The son is the weakest person in the house, he begins to see things, unnatural in which he believes that it is the side effect of his treatment and medication. He soon realizes that he can experience the visions of the boy who used to live here and that boy is trying to communicate with him, and he is not the only one who still lingers in this house.
The plot is not so bad, it features a few frightening scenes and a little twist at the end. I would say it’s a predictable story, not memorable but it’s definitely better than Amityville.
