Joan Chen

Joan Chen is a renowned Chinese-American actress and film director, born on April 26, 1961. She gained fame in China with her role in 小花 / Little Flower (1979) and became internationally recognized for her performance in The Last Emperor (1987), which won nine Academy Awards. Chen is also well-known for her role as Josie Packard in the cult television series Twin Peaks (1990) and her appearances in films like Saving Face (2004) and The Home Song Stories (2007). In addition to acting, she has directed critically acclaimed films, including 天浴 / Xiu Xiu: The Sent Down Girl (1998).
