Paranormal Activity is an independent horror film, centers on a young couple, Katie (Katie Featherston) and Micah (Micah Sloat). Katie believes that something has been following her around since she was a child, and now it is coming back again. When she tells her story to Micah, he decides to buy a camera and film everything to find proof that Katie’s story is real or just her imagination.

The audience follows the story through the footage of their video camera which records their everyday life both day and night and witness a series of terrifying and inexpiable events.

The film style is similar to the famous film “The Blair Witch project” (which I hate). Tthe idea is interesting for home video or internet broadcasting… I almost fell asleep, the only thing that kept me awake is Micah’s disturbingly annoying dialogue.

I do expect more when i bought a ticket to watch a film in a cinema! as a big fan of horror genre, I feel ‘nothing’, if there is a word to describe my feeling, it would be ‘boring’.

This is clearly one of the most over-hyped horror films in the history, Paranormal Activity has set the record as the most profitable independent film ever made having earned over $100 million with a production budget of $15,000.
