Historical drama film depicts on Hypatia, a female philosopher, mathematician, and astronomer who wants to prove that earth is not center of the universe and does not move in perfect circular orbit during the decline of Greco-Roman polythesim and the rise of Christianization of Roman empire.
Rachel Weisz portrays a brilliant and powerful performance. The film is marvelous in term of costumes and cinematography. However the story is not. There are too many characters and subplots which deviate my attention from the main plot. And that leads to boredom, again.
